Communications and Marketing Guidelines - These guidelines will explain the proper usage of the official seal of recognition. Please remember that you may not use the Fit-Friendly Companies seal in external marketing or advertising efforts for your company. The guidelines include those details.
Press Release for Platinum Companies - Fit-Friendly Company Platinum awardees are allowed to distribute one press release to the media in their local market. This sample press release has been created for use by officially recognized Platinum-level Fit-Friendly companies. The American Heart Association must approve the press release before distribution, so please contact your local AHA office.
Fact Sheet - This gives you information about qualifying as a Fit-Friendly Company.
Sample Script for Your Award Presentation - You'll definitely want to let your employees know that their worksite has received the American Heart Association's Fit-Friendly Companies recognition. This script provides talking points to use for announcing the recognition at all-staff meetings, Board meetings, etc.
Sample Blurbs for Your Company Communications - As a Fit-Friendly Company, you'll want to promote the recognition to your employees in multiple ways. A great way to get the word out is through your company newsletter. Our sample document can help you promote the recognition to internal audiences only. It cannot be used for external audiences, including promotions, advertising or media.
